Our premium fridge trailers are racked with removable shelving giving maximum space to store, your food, wine, beer, and even flowers for your guests.

Our staff are trained in the technical use of the fridge ot freezer trailer workings and our staff hold qualifications in the repair or servicing of or fridge trailer chiller units.

We also provide back-up sevices for other event hire companies and cold chain providers.

We offer delivery to your venue positioning the fridge trailer in a convenient location.

Our plug and play refrigerated hire trailers and hire freezer trailers either plug into a domestic household socket or to an event generator. If you need power in the middle of a field we can also hire you an event generator too. An HO7-RN high quality 20 metre cable is provided to connect the fridge or freezer to your power source.

All our hired refrigerated trailers are pressure cleaned and sanitised ready for immediate use. All freezer trailers are also cleaned, sanitised and tested to -18c ready for immediate use.

Our mobile refrigeration and freezer trailers offer the ultimate event fridge trailer. A mobile cold store is now vital to match today's food-hygiene standards. And this is matched by our personal attention that delivers, sets up, and collects to your schedule. You simply plug into 13amp. mains, or a generator (we can also supply), and the required temperature is reached within 60 minutes.

Our fridge and freezer trailers are built to a very high standard including Humbaur, Bockman, Govi, RivaCold. They can be hired with or without storage shelving. Designed for the chilled storage of foods and beverages for weddings, parties and outside events, they are also ideal as emergency back-up cold storage for vaccine stations, hotels, restaurants and butchers. Or, those times of year - Summer season, or just before Christmas - when you just need some extra capacity.

During Covid-19 Pandemic 2020

For us the Covid-19 pandemic started around the beginning of January.2020. My grandson had just been born, my son came back into work feeling ill. Within a few days 9 of our staff became ill with respiratory and other symptoms which we now know were highly likely to have been Covid-19.

There set the pattern over the next few weeks as we slowly realised that a pandemic was about to unfold. Most of our fleet of fridge and freezer trailers, fuel bowsers and generators were back from Christmas events with our maintenance team servicing and carrying out essential maintenance ready for the 2020 events season.

Our parent group company Christian Faversham Ltd operate a national event hire service, At the time the pandemic was announced our booking system had well over 1,000 live enquiries for the season 2020 and a high chunk of those booked with deposits to hold equipment for their pre-booked dates.

Bear in mind our entire Administration team are ill and that Boris Johnson announced that everyone should Stay at Home and Save Lives. At this point 4 out of a staff of 30+ are providing urgent refrigeration and catering equipment FREE to London based charities and some Councils at the beginning, during, and ongoing as we hopefully come out of the other end. To say that it’s been tough for us and our colleagues in the event, hospitality and leisure sector is an understatement.

Spare a thought for the people that have worked all though the pandemic, doctors, nurses, NHS and emergency workers, volunteers and charity support. We are all tired having worked many 7 day weeks of up to 20 hours a day in the earlier days as demand was at it’s highest.

As I speak, we are receiving high volumes of calls to reinstate cancelled events from 2020 and re-book all those 2020 events in a shortened 2021 calendar and add additional 2021 events. It’s not going to be possible to get back to all those keen negotiators looking for discounts as we have a duty to support all our existing trade and existing clients that have already paid deposits and postponed events.

Twelve months down the line insurance companies have realised they have to pay out on Business Interruption policies that the High Court ruled was their contractual duty. and now policies have risen up to 20%. The National Living Wage has increased, energy prices and road fuel has gone up 10% as we speak and Sadiq Khan has increased the ULEZ and London Congestion charge, and now he seeks to expand the zone areas to catch more motorists.

Our prices remain the same up to and including March 31st 2021 after which time they will rise in line with increased running costs. Any quotes previously offered will become null and void.

Following the announcement that A coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine developed by Pfizer/BioNTech has been approved for use in the UK. We are able to offer for hire various sizes of fridges suitable for vaccine storage in conjunction with NHS cold chain procedure.

In a time of crisis, when your cold room or freezer has failed you can rely on The Fridge Co. to deliver an urgent variety of mobile fridge trailers or mobile freezer trailers for a short term hire or long term rental.

We offer a 24 hour telephone service with mobile trailers ready to go, in the event of your emergency we will arrive as soon as possible with a walk in refrigeration trailer or freezer trailer ready to move your perishable stock to prevent damage and loss.

You have a Duty in Law to Mitigate your Losses in respect of a financial loss due to a freezer break down. Once you realise your freezer is not working you have a very limited time to get a replacement hire unit delivered. The temperatur of a freezer should be monitored twice a day. Often there may be a pattern of lower temperature readings or ice forming on the evaporator.

If you are in doubt or you think your fridge or freezer may be on the blink, give us a call sometimes there can be a simple solution or a simple fix.
